Principle of Operation
The extrudates are put on the chequered plate of suitable pitch
and they are converted into spherical beads with the help of
the chequered plate & the centrifugal force created during
the spher'oidization process.
During the movement of wet extrudates on the rotating chequered
plate, they are sheared by the grooves on the plate into approximately
same size of its diameter.

Having been kept rotating further, wet
extrudates are turned into spherical shape by tumbling and
frictional force and desirable spheres in uniform size can
be obtainable at high yield.
The size of spheres can be determined by screen size of extruder,
say 1 mm extrudates out of 1mm screen become 1 mm dia sphere.
