Powder Layering
UPPL's Solid Drug Layering systems provide a fast and cost effective means to debottleneck your existing fluid bed systems. In this specially designed system both the drug powder and binder solution are tangentially sprayed on an inert core resulting in the production of pellets that can further be coated by different polymers to obtain modified release formulations. Good yields of drug layering are possible in very short periods of time. Systems in capacities from formulation development through full production are available.
