	Principle of Operation The Twin Screw Extruder is based upon the screw design. Instead of one screw we use two screws. The two screws move in the opposite direction whereby the product is to into the extrusion screen. The extrusion takes place on the circumference of the mesh instead of front discharge as in the case of single screw design.
The extrusions fall and break itself into uneven lengths with gravity force. This machine gives less compaction than die-roller design extruder. Its major advantage is that finer beads from 0.6mm diameter are possible even in the production scale. The bulk density of the extrudes produced is lower than the external roller design.
